- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My experience at Eye World started ok. The nurse was nice and Dr. McMahon was nice enough. He said he was going to give me 2 different types of contacts to try because my current ones were irritated. They told me I had to pay for my contact fitting, which I never had to do before, but ok. Then the kid who came in to give me my contacts said I had to pay $170, $60 for the contact fitting and $110 for the contacts. How can you charge me for contacts before you even know what type of contact I will be wearing? Then I said I didn't need to order contacts because I wanted to shop around and he said that if I didn't order my contacts from them they were going to charge me for the trial contacts. What they heck did I pay $60 for if it didn't include my trial contacts?!!?! And an FYI, I just order my prescribed contacts for a total of $45.67 including S&H for what they were going to charge me $110 for. Got the hard copy of my prescription and I was out of there and I will never go back!December 16, 2016by Alison Brewer
