  I recently submitted an insurance claim for damages to my house as a consequence of heavy and repeated storms with my State Farm insurance representative, Rafael Martinez. A few days after, an insurance adjuster went to my house, performed his evaluation and processed a check for damages. I must admit that the amount of the check was less than I expected, considering the deductible. The next day, Mr. Martinez called me to see if I was satisfied with the claim service. I told him I was impressed with the quick service, but that I was expecting a little bit more for the damages. Mr. Martinez took a second look to the adjuster's comments on his evaluation and detected that the adjuster had not taken into consideration certain things pertaining to severity of the storm on a particular date. Thanks to my agent, an appeal was filed, and my claim is being reconsidered for a higher amount. It's a nice feeling when someone is looking for my best interest!! Thank you Mr. Martinez!!
