- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Wow, Stacey Bruckler....I had a very similar experience. Of all times for a vet to not prescribe an antibiotic!! Then when infection set in and my 132 lb dog was 100 miles from their office, they showed no concern. Told me I could bring her in........3 of her legs had been operated on, and because of infection she couldn't walk! Then she needed an additional surgery and another week stay. Then he mentions that I may want to consider getting the plates removed!!!! What!!!!!????? If only I could go back in time......June 14, 2017by Valerie Hamme
